Each woman is photographed outside their front door, representing the change they had experienced after the strike. The images themselves are photogravures with screen printed text from audio interviews, documenting life before and after the strike.

The subject matter is personal to Vanessa whose father and grandfather were coalminers, and who remembers the impact the strike had on her family. Talk Saturday 17 March 2pm.
